"Mini Album" Card Project for The Piece by Piece

Sooooo, this started out intending to be a regular card on a cardstock base but ended up as a little "mini album" card! (I dont know what else to call it) I've created the card on chipboard pages and binded it with ribbon like a mini album. It turned out a little bit vintage and a little bit shabby chic!  I love it!...but...I gave it away!  I let it go to a dear friend! It was sooo pretty I couldnt even write in it... included a small tag where I wrote my thoughts and tucked it into an area on the bottom page.   I used lots of yummy laces from ThePiecebyPiece etsy store, and some of the yummy new Prima stuff from the The Engraver line, and the Vintage Trinkets--also from The PiecebyPiece store! --Yep! Beverly carries more than just laces in her store! WooWoo!! Take a peek! the links to the items I will be down below the photos.

Here is the front of the card!

Here's a closer look at the bottom ensemble

Here's a closer look at the top portion. Look how the laces from Beverly's store makes it look soo beautiful!

Here's the inside as a whole!

Here's the top portion of the inside card.

Here's a little closer-up on the left side to show you all the layering going on. Again, the lace sets the tone.

Here's the bottom of the card!

Here's a close-up of the layering.

Other than the Prima Engraver line, I pulled out The G45 'A Ladies Diary' paper.  A little bit of Prima 'Romance Novel' paper (although a lot of that got covered up with all of the layering) The diecuts are Colorbox 'Victorian Parlor' and a line from Anna Griffin. (I didnt include a picture of the back, because I forgot to take a picture of that before I sent it off! It was just covered with the large 'alphabet letters' paper of the Romance Novel line, had a dose of texture paint and included my "made by" tag) I sewed and distressed everything....around all the edges of the papers and diecuts. Used texture to give it a snowy softness. Used the TCW "Art Is" stencil and textured over that to make it "pop" more.  I'm sure you noticed how the flowers look shiny. I used paper and fabric flowers and Tim Holtz crackle accents. I love adding glossy accents or crackle accents to my flowers.  Really brings out the vintage-ness. (Is that a word? LOL) I used Bead Landing trinkets and Tim Holtz metal embellishments too.  I love that Beverly now carries Prima in her etsy shop. The Sunrise Sunset Vintage Trinkets make this sooo pretty! This line couldnt have been more made for me! I love the roman numerals,  and skeleton clocks! Right up my alley!! I love how the Engraver line has a masculine feel to it when you look at it, but I totally made it feminine! It has so many elements that you can fussy cut! YUMMY! And you can find it all at ThePiecebyPiece! If you notice the Engraver line in her store, I bet you will see the other new Prima lines there too! Yaaay! Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like it and find inspiration to make one for yourself! Here's the direct links to the products from Beverly's store:
