DIY Rustic Halloween Witch Shoes Bouquet (DT Project for Reneabouquets.com)

 Well, when crafters have forged ahead onto Christmas craft projects, I'm finishing up with one final Halloween project!  This one was a fun one. I have been wanting to make this for a couple of years! Honestly, I was intimidated because I am not good with bouquets, but I had some help and made it through!  I was originally going to make one tall witch shoe but decided to make a pair of witch shoes featuring one large spooky bouquet!! I was able to put all this together using tons of product from Reneabouquets.com. I will have the list below for all the product I used from Reneabouquets on this project. DIY Fall Rustic Fabric Scarecrow Hat (Design Team Project for Reneabouquets.com)

 Well, even though most crafters are probably on their way to Halloween (or even Christmas) crafts....I'm still designing for the Fall Season! I really wanted to create a rustic version of a Scarecrow Hat. I wanted it to look weathered, worn, rusty, just as if it had been sitting out in the corn field for quite a few years...but still have a bit of a shabby chic look to it!  I created the hat using my own pattern with a base of felt fabric, a glue mixture consisting of instant coffee and cinnamon ( I thought the cinnamon would give it the rusty look I was going for) and baked this whole ensemble in the oven to get a nice sturdy hat to hold all of the embellishments! I was able to make this project look just as I had envisioned it using lots of Beautiful Board Fall product and flowers from Reneabouquets.com.
