DIY Rustic Halloween Witch Shoes Bouquet (DT Project for Reneabouquets.com)

 Well, when crafters have forged ahead onto Christmas craft projects, I'm finishing up with one final Halloween project!  This one was a fun one. I have been wanting to make this for a couple of years! Honestly, I was intimidated because I am not good with bouquets, but I had some help and made it through!  I was originally going to make one tall witch shoe but decided to make a pair of witch shoes featuring one large spooky bouquet!! DIY Fall Rustic Fabric Scarecrow Hat (Design Team Project for Reneabouquets.com)

 Well, even though most crafters are probably on their way to Halloween (or even Christmas) crafts....I'm still designing for the Fall Season! I really wanted to create a rustic version of a Scarecrow Hat. I wanted it to look weathered, worn, rusty, just as if it had been sitting out in the corn field for quite a few years...but still have a bit of a shabby chic look to it!  I created the hat using my own pattern with a base of felt fabric, a glue mixture consisting of instant coffee and cinnamon ( I thought the cinnamon would give it the rusty look I was going for) and baked this whole ensemble in the oven to get a nice sturdy hat to hold all of the embellishments! I was able to make this project look just as I had envisioned it using lots of Beautiful Board Fall product and flowers from Reneabouquets.com. DIY Rustic Wood Witch Hat (DT Project for Reneabouquets.com)

 It's time to switch up our Fall Crafts for just one moment before we return to some regular scheduled programming...well, and maybe one more switch up in a project or two! ;) I don't usually do much Halloween décor, but thought it would be fun to do something rustic, not scary or gory, and just plain cute and fun! It was easy to design this project using some new Beautiful Board Halloween elements from  Reneabouquets! I even added in some flowers! Funny, I know for a witch hat, but once the Reneabouquets White Mulberry Flowers were sprayed with a color spray into a beautiful black shade as well as adding some of the Reneabouquets Glass Microbeads in Black as well, they just fit right in! DIY Rustic Farmhouse Fabric Pumpkin (Design Team Project for Reneabouquets.com)

  It's that time of year and I have plenty of inspiring Fall crafts in my mind, so for this design team project, I decided to start easy with a fabric pumpkin... a RECTANGLE pumpkin! I wanted a fun, whimsical shape for the pumpkin instead of the usual round shape...which I love, don't get me wrong, but a rectangle shape just changes things up a bit!!

DIY Papercrafting Project: "Sweet Home Forever" ( A Design Team Project for Reneabouquets.com)

    For this project, I wanted to create a farmhouse style home decor piece with a shabby twist. I started with a 9x9 unfinished slat board style piece of wood from Hobby Lobby and painted it a nice dark gray tone. Since I was creating a "home" piece, I thought it would be cute to add some wooden numbers around the perimeter, to simulate house numbers (which I spray painted a lighter tone of gray), and I also wanted to  add a handle that I spray painted white for that look of the door knob on the front door. From there, I simply layered up with all sorts of tags and ephemera pieces that I thought gave a reference to "home" using tones of whites, creams and aquas.  I used wood letters from Hobby Lobby as well for the H,M,E of the word" home". For the "O" in home I wanted to use the smallest size of the Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Laser Cut Chipboard Set of 3 Chain Link Frames. Then I proceeded to use other Beautiful Board Laser Cut Chipboard Pieces such as a large decorative clock hand (to reference time), Beautiful Bits Gears (to reference how family is blessed with the workings of love) and beautiful Mulberry Paper Roses and Leaves in the Seafoam shades. DIY Papercrafting Project: Home Decor Keepsake (Design Team Project for Reneabouquets.com)

 For this project, I had a photo that I just adore and have been waiting for inspiration to strike, so that I could create a beautiful, memorable piece of home decor.
