DIY Farmhouse/Shabby Style "Blessed" Sign

Time to create another Farmhouse style sign! Because, well, I just am not tired of doing them!! So its a treat for me to create them and I hope to inspire you to create one for yourself! I started with a partial sign kit I had bought...so I am using the main board piece and the large ring from the kit. The sign didn't come with a frame. You could have purchased the frame, but I did not, because I mainly wanted the elements in the kit...but as I began designing the sign...I wished I had the frame. What to do...build my own! I started with two frames from Dollar Tree and using my Miter Saw I cut down the pieces of the frame to the sizes I needed and...after some sawing time...I had a frame! I painted and distressed all my pieces and was ready to decorate.
Jumping forward, I was able to complete the shabby portion of the project with beautiful product from Reneabouquets.com including one of her brand new Beautiful Board releases.. the Dainty Butterfly set. Soooo gorgeous and perfect for those farmhouse inspired projects... As with all Reneabouquets Beautiful Board pieces they come in a beautiful vintage white finish and can top off any of your creativity needs!
If you'd like to see a start to finish video of this entire project, I will have my You Tube video link down below for you. I will also have the links to all the Reneabouquets product I used on this project! Thanks for joining me and Happy Crafting! But up first...photos of this project!!

DIY Rustic Farmhouse Inspired "Building our Love" (DT Project for www.reneabouquets.com)

I've seen this post on Pinterest, like 1000 times and have wanted to recreate it for awhile...and now was the time. It was a simple post...the project was made by using wood pieces that spelled out the word 'love' with a metal shaped heart for the 'o'. Simplistic in nature, rustic...right up my alley! I actually had a bundle of these thin wood pieces that I got from Habitat For Humanity last year for $1.00. They were the perfect pieces of wood for a project like this. I really wanted my project to be the same theme...farmhouse inspired, rustic...but with a little twist of shabby thrown in and I wanted to use some elements that would give it a homey industrial sort of look. Completing my project to its beautiful end was completely easy using product from Reneabouquets.com. I will have the links to the product I used down below as well as the You Tube Video showing the entire star to finish process! Also there will be an April Coupon Code down below to use with your Reneabouquets order! Here are the pics! Thanks for stopping by!

DIY Paper Craft Shabby Chic Art for Home Decor "Simply Dream" (Design Team project for Reneabouquets)

For this project, I really wanted to design with the Reneabouquets Printed Board Board Romance And Roses line, Persephone. What a sweet little angel! I knew her design would need to be the center of attention for the project. So, here is just a glimpse into how my creativity for this project started out...I was able to begin with an unfinished photo frame that I purchased from Dollar Tree as my base. I had been looking for some inspiration for my project and came by this piece of art that had these paint swooshes in the background on a canvas...very bold and beautiful and I wanted to try it. I decided I would start with light shabby colors of paint detailed on the right, leading to the left, where my art would be mostly detailed along that left side. It was a bold choice leaving so much blank space on the right, but I also knew, my piece was small enough so that it would blend OK. I also wanted to add in some Reneabouquets Fine Diamond Glitter Glass on the right side that started large and went smaller, sort of leading your eye to the artful side. The rest, well, just came about very easily, knowing that the center of attention, would be "framed" among a Beautiful Board Laser Cut Chipboard "Garden Gate" of Reneabouquet Chiffon and Mulberry Flowers, as well as other beautiful product from Reneabouquets. Below the photos, I will have all the links to the product I used on this project down below as well as a link to my You Tube video that shows the designing process! Thanks for stopping by!

DIY Paper Craft: Shabby Chic Home Decor (Design Team Project for Reneabouquets)

Well, this project, just designed itself. LOL. I had no rhyme or reason of how things came together...I only knew the pieces that I wanted to work with from www.reneabouquets.com. I was really wanting to design a project using the Beautiful Board Laser Cut Chipboard Eiffel Tower and Gothic Gate and I also knew I would return back to a project with a color palate of Pinks and Khakis.... it's almost Spring after all, and time for some light colors! I created the project on a pre-fab home decor piece that I bought on clearance after Mother's Day last year. I like the size of the canvas which is 8x8! Here is what I came up with! The product links used from Reneabouquets will be listed below as well as the start to finish You Tube video of the entire process! Enjoy!!
