I decided to create a page layout on a frame! Possibly nothing genius about the process, except that I wanted the mixed media background to appear to be "watermarked" or "opaque" looking and I wanted it also to be "floating" so that the entire combination would be soft and romantic! For this look, I chose to purchase a floating frame from Walmart. I used paper from the Tim Holtz collection, French Industrial. A beautiful set of papers! I slid this paper, after sewing the perimeter, in between the glass (as opposed to on top of the glass) so that it would have that floating look I was going for. On top of the glass, I used a Prima crackle stencil with Ranger Texture Paste, Prima Color Bloom spray in Pearl White, Mister Huey's Opaque White mist, some Multi Medium paste with Reneabouquets Glitter Glass in Diamond. Everything but the Mister Huey's Spray and Multi Medium came from Reneabouquets shop. The sprays really gave me the watermark/opaque look that I was trying to achieve and the glitter glass added the beautiful shimmery softness. Once this look was all achieved, I began simply embellishing on the top of the glass with my photo, Wild Orchid Craft and Prima flowers, Prima products, along with a vintage lace, a beautiful handmade butterfly and a dragonfly from Reneabouquets shop. I will list the exact product I used from Reaneabouquets below the photos! To get to Reneabouquets shop, simply click on the shop link to the right on my sidebar! Here's the photos:
