Shabby Chic Altered Pumpkin Carriage (DT Project for Reneabouquets)

About 2 years ago, I found a metal pumpkin carriage at Joann's Craft Store and I had to have it! I knew I wanted to make a romantic style "Cinderella" theme! It was a brown color, so I mixed acrylic paint and sand together and painted this up....and then it sat for 2 years....no inspiration for a design, just a theme, obviously.   But this year, it was the right time of year and I was bound and determined to pull this out, hunt down some inspiration on Pinterest and start this project!  I also added a strand of tiny LED lights after my project was complete, so at night, it would look delicate and romantic! I didn't take any "night" photos, but if you look closely, in some of the pictures, you can see some tiny lights!  I used a piece of clear acrylic under the carriage, so that I would have a base to glue all the layers of flowers to, as well as all the other embellishments!
